Assign a page to a menu item
Once youve created your basic site hierarchy, its time to associate those menus with pages. To assign a page to a menu item, click the menu item on the left to select it, then choose a page from the Display page drop down menu and click Update. Once you have chosen a page, you can click Edit page to modify the page content. If you havent yet created any pages for your site, click Create a new page to display the Page editor (see Creating a new page in Chapter 2 for more information about using the Page editor tools).
Assign an outside link to a menu item
In addition to displaying pages created in the CMT, menu items may be set to link to a specified URL. To assign a menu item as a link, choose URL link to another page from the Display page drop down menu then click Update. This displays an edit field in which you type the URL address to link when the viewer selects the specified menu item. Be sure to include the "http://" portion of the address. Select the Open in new window to have this link open in a new browser window. When you are finished making changes, click Update to save your changes.
