Slideshows and the slideshow bank
A slideshow is a series of pictures with or without accompanying text not unlike an actual slideshow. A slideshow can be included in a page like an article, and viewers can advance from picture to picture in a slideshow without reloading the page itself, which makes the slideshow a fast, ideal way to get information across.
You might use a slideshow to show viewers a series of related blueprints, a set of contrasting charts, or a historical presentation using maps and photographs.
The Slideshow bank
The slideshow bank lets you see and access any slideshows you have created for your Web site. You can access it by clicking Slideshow on the Site manager navigation bar.
You can sort any of the lists by clicking on the heading for the trait you want to sort by date of last update, name, or assigned page.
To edit a slideshow, just click its title to open the selected slideshow in the Slideshow editor.
Deleting a slideshow
To delete a slideshow, click Delete beside the slideshow name in the Slideshow bank.
A dialog is displayed requiring confirmation that you want to delete the selected slideshow. If you want to continue with the delete action, click OK to return to the Slideshow bank with the selected slideshow removed.
If you do not want to continue with the delete action, click Cancel to return to the Slideshow bank no changes.
Creating a new slideshow
To create a new slideshow, click Create new slideshow underneath the Site manager navigation bar in the Slideshow bank.
When you create a new slideshow, the CMT displays the Slideshow Editor where you will set attributes for your slideshow and add the images.
