Page title

Enter the page title in the Page title edit field. This title will be displayed in the browser window title when the page is viewed on your site. In addition, if your site layout supports them, this page title will be displayed in the site breadcrumb links. Breadcrumbs are clickable links that typically display at the top of the page and show the path the viewer took to reach the current page (e.g., home page >> products >> gadgets >> gizmo). Description

Enter the page description in the Description edit field. This page description is displayed in the page bank list as a reminder of the page content. This information is also used in the page description META tag. Some search engines will display the description of the page when it is listed in the search results (See the FAQ section for more information about META tags). Return to top

Keywords

Enter the page keywords in the Keywords edit field. You can enter multiple keywords or phrases by separating each with a comma. Keywords are used in the page keyword META tag which some search engines use to find and display your Web page. (See the FAQ section for more information about META tags). Return to top

Navigation

The navigation options are used when the page is accessed via an article link (as opposed to being associated with one of the site navigation menus).
Select Display to display the page with the standard navigation menu.
Select None to display the page with no menu (or breadcrumb) display.
Select Plain page to display it as a Plain page with no graphics or layout components. The Plain page navigation is useful if you want to display a map or large graphic on a page by itself. NOTE: Neither the None or Plain page options display site navigation so it is best to use the open in new window option in conjunction with these navigation options. Return to top

Members only option

You may choose to limit access to any page by selecting the Members only option. Similar to the Limit access option in the Menu editor, this option requires a viewer to provide log-in information to view the content of the page. Site users/members are set up by site administrators through the User manager tool (see the User manager section for more information on using the User manager tools). Return to top

Email/Print friendly link

Select the Print friendly link option to display links that allow the visitor to email the page to a colleague and/or display the page in a print friendly format. The email link is typically displayed at the top of the page with the Print friendly link displayed at the bottom of the page. However, this depends on your site layout. Return to top

Use the Template pull-down menu to choose the general layout of articles on the page or one of the specialized page templates. Once selected, the thumbnail representation of the page will update to display the new template selected. Click Update to change the template You can change the page template at any time by selecting a different template from the pull-down menu, and clicking Update. To learn how to use the templates, see the "Using templates" section later in this chapter. Return to top
